Chris Getman, Associate AIA, Project Manager
S. Christopher Getman, Associate AIA, is a Project Manager for Howard Kulp Architects where he is responsible for the management of multiple concurrent projects in all aspects of the design, construction and renovation process including: Schematic Design and Planning, Design Development, Contract Documentation and Construction Administration.
Mr. Getman is an associate member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). Prior to joining Howard Kulp Architects in 2006, Mr. Getman was a project manager at W2A Design Group in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He has held a variety of design positions in eastern Pennsylvania and New York, and his work has been submitted in several design competitions. Most recently W2A was an invited finalist in the Reading [Pennsylvania] School District's competition, where Mr. Getman's work was integral on Millmont Elementary School.
Mr. Getman received a Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University School of Architecture in 1997 where he also received a Deans Citation for his senior thesis, "Center for the study of Human Motion @ Cornell University." Mr. Getman also studied under the Division of International Programs Abroad in Florence, Italy where he completed an in depth investigation and examination of Italian architecture, urban context, culture and language. He is an active member of the Syracuse University Alumni Association and volunteered for the Arts Council of Princeton in New Jersey.
